Everyone needs balance in his or her life. If you have a solitary career or work at home, you may be interested in a volunteer assignment at Stamford Hospital that involves interaction with people. How about visiting patients, being a liaison in one of our waiting rooms, providing patient and family "concierge" support, or helping greet and direct families and friends of new moms and babies? We have many such volunteer opportunities.
You simply need to commit to three hours each week – or be available for short-term projects.

Please call us if you have had experience with Medicare counseling or would be willing to be trained to assist the public with Medicare, prescription drugs, supplemental insurance etc.
