Stamford Hospital's state-of-the-art Radiology Department is equipped with the most most advanced medical diagnostic imaging available, giving radiologists and physicians the detailed "look" inside the human body needed to effectively diagnose, monitor and treat disease.

To make accessing, examining and sharing radiographic and other diagnostic modality images as quick and effective as possible, all scans are digitally saved and transferred via a state-of-the-art Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Considered one of the best in the industry, the system allows radiologists and physicians to access authorized radiological reports remotely, eliminating the need for time-consuming trips.

Advanced radiation is offered at three convenient locations:

• Darien Imaging Center: Offering bone density, CT scan, mammography, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray
• The Tully Health Center/ Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Diagnostic Imaging Center: Offering bone density, CT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, ultrasound and X-ray, as well as a full spectrum of laboratory services.
• The Stamford Hospital: Offering CT scan, Interventional Radiology, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT scan, ultrasound and X-ray
• The Women's Breast Center: Offering a full range of diagnostic breast exams and mammography.
