Hospice Care

Hospice care is a specialized program to meet the needs of individuals and families of people with terminal illnesses, who are no longer actively being treated for their disease. Comfort is always the goal, focusing on quality of life.

Through our relationship with Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern CT, hospice services can be offered at home, in assisted living facilities, at nursing homes, Stamford Hospital, or the Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence. The Rosenthal Hospice Residence is located on the campus of Stamford Hospital and provides compassionate care and physical and emotional support in a home-like environment, along with the necessary medical attention to make life comfortable for people with a terminal illness.
