Patient Education
By sharing knowledge, we empower patients and their families to make decisions and to be more involved in their own health. Medical records are open to patients, and we're happy to explain them. We provide ongoing health-related information through several channels.
"Instant Healthline" Educational Video-on-Demand
You can view programs on hundreds of health topics—from stress management to ostomy care—in the comfort of your room, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some programs are available in Spanish. Please ask your caregiver for instructions and a listing of the programs. He or she can also help you start a program for viewing, if you wish.
The Newborn Channel
Available on our maternity floor, this channel offers helpful information for new mothers.
