Novadaq SPY™ System

The Novadaq SPY™ provides the surgeon with the capability to see flow through the new bypass graft before the patient leaves the operating room.  The surgeon can use this technology to evaluate the area of the heart muscle served by the new graft as well.  Providing this feedback helps the surgeon to optimize graft placement and ensure that all grafts are working properly before completing the surgery.  The SPY™ system uses a special dye that is activated by a laser beam and provides video and still pictures of the function of the graft.
