Darien Imaging Center
The Darien Imaging Center offers the following diagnostic tests: Digital Mammography, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Bone Densitometry, CT scan and MRI. All tests conducted at the Darien site are staffed and read by board-certified Stamford Hospital radiologists and can be easily transmitted to other physicians and specialists at the hospital, Tully Health Center, or a physician's computer through the picture archiving technology (PACS) utilized in the radiology department.
The new Darien Imaging Center was designed with Stamford Hospital's Planetree focus of patient-centered care. Each mammography room has its own dedicated dressing room. In addition, patients can listen to their favorite radio station or bring in their own CDs to listen to during the MRI, or they can view the outdoor mural on the wall.
